But there are things worth having another person in the conversation for.

A change you're thinking about making.
Or something you haven't quite worked out yet.
We might find ourselves talking about profitability and revenue, a new opportunity, partnerships, people, growth, restructuring, an exit, a new venture, or what you actually want from the business now.
I bring another perspective, and 25 years of my own experience owning and operating businesses.
I'll ask questions. Notice things. Challenge your thinking. Have an opinion when I have one. Bring commercial experience when it's useful.
And because we work together over time, I come to know you and your business too.
I remember what we've talked about.
I notice when something has changed.
And we can return to conversations as reality unfolds.
The business matters.
So does the person running it.
A decision has to make sense commercially. And you are the person who has to live with what it creates.

The nature of the work
This is not typically a single conversation.
Private Advisory begins with an initial three-month engagement.
We generally meet twice each month, with flexibility around the cadence depending on what's happening.
Three months gives us time to get beyond the immediate question. I get to know you, your business and the context around what you're working through. We can work with what happens as decisions are made, circumstances change and new things emerge.
After the initial three months, we can continue month-to-month or you may be complete.
The subject of our conversations will change. That's the nature of being in business.
The relationship gives us continuity and context as things unfold.
Private Advisory starts at $550 per month.
